I don't use an XR router with DumaOS, but on my R7800 and smartphone on WiFi I don't have issues connecting Smartphone -> Local Server and Desktop over SSH -- all run on openSUSE Linux. There must be something in DumaOS that blocks this
Do you use your R7800 1) as a wifi access point connected to a box or 2) as a router replacing the box ?

The R7800 runs in Router mode. I have a modem-only box from my ISP. A Compal modem without any router features or WiFi
