Constant Router Disconnect
Since last bios update on my router, my xbox will not stay connected. Constant connect and disconnect, back and forth. My xbox is hard wired, not wifi. Also web pages on both my laptop and desktop...
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
My cable modem is a Motorola Surfboard SB6141. My Nighthawk router is a R8000P.
Everything worked fine before the firmware update
My firmware update was to V1.4.2.84_1.3.42.
That is when everything broke.
Xbox was a constant disconnect. Computers had trouble loading about anywebpage.
I just reverted back to V1.4.1.68_1.3.28, about 30 minutes ago.
Everything went back to working normally.
My 2 tv's and xbox are hardwired to the Nighthawk.
My desktop and laptop and wireless.
There are many other wifi's here. I live in an apartment
Next time, try a factory reset and setup from scratch after a FW update.
I guess use whats working for now.
