D7000 V1 Telnet & Debug Mode no longer works after upgrade

I used to enable debug mode on my D7000 in order to get the statistics via Telnet (info --stats). I took a firmware upgrade (V1.0.1.80_1.0.1) and now Telnet access or debg enable no longer works. Ha...
