D7000 v2 WIFI Signal diminishes so quickly even at 5 m from unit
Firmware version 1.0.0.66 is installed. I could really do with some help as this issue is really p...ing me off. I'm not an expert by any means but I'm reasonably IT savvy and am aware of the pot...

Is the Model: A7000|Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi USB Adapter - USB 3.0 listed in your footer involved in this in anyway? Or did you just click the first thing that popped up when you wrote your message?

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
