D7000v2 will not update.
I have my router set to auto for updates but this NEVER happens.
I have also tried to get it to update via the Administrator page in Advanced settings.
This kicks out the message that there is "No new firmware version available.".
As you can see in the attached image the Firmware Version is V1.0.066_1.0.2.
According to Netgear's Download page the current version is 1.0.0.74.
Is there a way of getting this to work or is it just another case of a 3rd class but highly expensive product being inflicted on us?

Have you tried manually updating it?
How do I manually update the firmware on my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

I have managed to do this manualy now but the very fact that the auto update (never works) and the system built into the router (cannot recognise an outstanding update) do not function confirms the poor quality of the system.
There also issues logging in to the router as it keeps rejecting the correct password and then finally allows log in. This is done with a password in my Keychain so it isn't operator error.
