So if this problem started with a recent firmware update, you can downgrade back one version of firmware to see if the problem goes away...

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Router is Nighthawk X6S
AC3600 Model# R7960P
Modem is Nighthawk CM1100
When i updated my firmware on the router thats when all these problems started.
