DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
Ever since i updated to the new firmware Firmware Version V1.4.2.84_1.3.42 I've had nothing but issues. problem connecting to websites, problems connecting to discord and certain games jsut no...
So if this problem started with a recent firmware update, you can downgrade back one version of firmware to see if the problem goes away...
Router is Nighthawk X6S
AC3600 Model# R7960P
Modem is Nighthawk CM1100
When i updated my firmware on the router thats when all these problems started.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last update?
Power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.
I just did that and still the same. The message "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" will come up when trying to go to webpages. Sometimes it will resolve itself and go, other times i have to click reload a few times and it goes.
Also i cannot connect to voice on discord servers. Certain games will not load in game content skins, server browsing etc etc. I got certain games to work maybe 2 out of 20 times. I jsut dont get it. Do i need to fully wipe my computer and start with a fresh compy of windows??? I dont know what i did :smileymad:
I would revert back FW Version and see if the problem continues or not.
Slow down there lol tell me in dumdum terms please. Sorry im not that techincal with this stuff
