Does readyshare even work on the Nighthawk R7000? USB Drive not detected.

I got it to work with a 125GB Usb Drive.
When accessing the router, whats displayed on your Readyshare Storage page?
Nothing. This was a Samsung self powered 512GB 3.1 USB Drive. A small thing about the size of 1/2 a playing card. But, when I plugged in a generic 1 mb flash drive it showed up in Readyshare. I wanted to backup my computers but this may not be the best or fastest way to do this. I had a 2TB Seagate NAS that went bad. I am all in now with a WD Dual NAS that is ethernet based with 1 GB of Ram and a 1.3 Mhz Processor. Thank you!!!
