Does this router Log entry mean the router blocked the DoS attack?

NETGEAR's firmware is famous for many, many false positives DoS attacks. Some can even come from your ISP or local PC/Smartphone/Tablet/etc. In case of doubt, look up the IP address and see if it's legitimate. If you're having issues, disable DoS protection (you're not losing much) and see if you get a more stable router. I run for 4 years without DoS protection turned on and never had issues

OK thanks. Is there a brand of consumer router that does do a good job with its firewall and reports?

ASUS routers are much better at that
