EX6400v2- unable to get past admin security questions
Get error message after entering answers to admin security questions
there's a bug with the questions.
what that is, is if you didn't set them up, it still asks the questions but there isn't a correct answer.
If you don't know the answers (or didn't set them up), then you'd need to factory reset to get back in.
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Then follow the install guide to set it back up.

Many issues are common to different types of devices, but extenders have their own quirks, especially in how you access their browser graphical user interface (GUI).
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
