EX7500 mesh

I have extender EX7500 with mesh tech, and I won't to buy the EX7000 type, so it will work together with mesh tech and how to setup?.

    I don't understand the question.

    What does "wont to buy" mean? Won't buy? Want to buy?

    Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

    Get the manual and follow the setup instructions.

    You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    You're trying to run 2 extenders and wondering if they'll work together? Is that what you're asking?

    You can use 2 extenders together.

    there's a few things I'd recommend.

    1. Usually if you're needing more than 1 extender, I recommend not adding another extender. I usually recommend moving to an actual mesh system like Orbi or MK nighthawk. Then there's a router controlling the system. Tends to be more stable and faster

    2. If you have to use 2 extenders, I'd highly recommend setting them up in a star configuration and not a daisy chain

    • Daisy: router----->extender------>extender
    • Star: Extender<-------router--------->extender

    3. Sometimes simply moving your current setup around can provide better coverage or optimize coverage. How big is your home (sq ft)? What are the interior walls made of? Where is the current router and ex7500 setup?

    4. what current router are you using? I've seen people use really crappy routers and add great mesh extenders to them and complain the mesh extender is slow. The mesh extender has to run off the router so needs a decent router for it to perform decently.

    5. Also keep in mind, the EX7000 is a dual band and not triband like the EX7500.

      Yes in deed I am trying to run 2 extenders and I need to see if they'll work together, because I was tried before to connect two extenders in my home, one type is EX7500 and the other is TP link but the communication where failed after a while due to IP conflict, so I found in our market another type of netgear which is EX7000 (with mesh technology) so I would like to ask if they will work together perfectly or not ?

      Thnak you in advance.

        Perfectly, not necessarily.

        Again, the problem is in mesh mode they have the same ssid as the router. And without a router controlling the system like you see with the Orbi/MK series, the extenders can end up connecting to each other or daisy chaining. The times I've seen it work is when setup in a star configuration and the extenders are far enough apart they won't connect to each other. And if you have a sketchy router (signal drops) it only makes things worse as when it drops, the extenders can connect to each other.

        When people have 2 extenders that are having issues staying connected properly, I usually advise people to disable the mesh function and have the router with its own ssid so they extenders can only connect to it.

        Not sure what tp-link extender you have but tp-link actually makes pretty solid extenders. So If its not working with that setup, I'd be checking into why it isn't before just buying another product.

        What extender was it?

        What size is your home? Extenders can be to close and so can mesh systems.

        What are the interior walls made of?

        What you setup the tp-link, did you use WPS or their installation assistant? (avoid wps when you have different device manufacturer's. its supposed to be universal but I've seen way to many that don't)
