I have a R8000 connected to a Hikvision DVR.
I have tried help from 7 or 8 different websites but I still am not able to access the DVR or router from a remote location.
What can I try now?

What changes does it advise you to make in the router's settings?
If you can dig out those details, perhaps someone can help.
Hikvision isn't a name that has cropped up here before, so there is no history of "things to do".
