F1TV app not working without DNS refresh

Question

I have the F1TV installed on my android smartphone and an amazon fire TV stick.

When I connect to the wifi of my internet provider (24*8 DOC 3 WIRELESS(DOCSIS)) bothe apps work fine every time.

Same whe I connect through mobile data.

When using the wifi from my R7800 router it only works when I apply the current (or new) DNS settings again in the Advanced > Setup > Internet setup menu.

This isolates the rootcause to my R7800 router.

I have tried my ISP's and different other DNS settings, but they all stop working within a day.

I have played around with QoS and WMM settings, nothing seems to work.

My internet providers wifi coverage is insufficient to use as an alternative unfortunately.

How can I get the F1TV app working through my R7800 router continuously?

I would presume the double NAT condition is playing a role in this. Once you can get DMZ working on the host router, hoping this would solve it. Something I haven't seen with my R7800.&nbsp;

What Firmware version is currently loaded?What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

FURRYe38&nbsp;FW version is&nbsp;V1.0.2.90Mdem: Eurodocsis 3.0 modem CH7465LG-TN&nbsp;IPv6 is enabled, addresses assigned.&nbsp;I just tested wit an old D-Link router, there it works immediately.

What mode is your modem working in? Router or Modem only mode?&nbsp;
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi.&nbsp;This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. Thanks for the reply Furrye38.&nbsp;I can't bridge my modem but set up a DMZ. This is not working, need to figure out why.Option 3 I don't want to do, why buy an expensive router...&nbsp;I am curious why it work when I refresh my DNS and why it works on the D-link router?
