You should review this and maybe revert back to this recommended version of FW:

Since I've flashed Tomato a few weeks ago I've forgotten that I have a router- it's working perfectly getting dust because i do not touch it at all :-)...
Parental control works perfectly, 0 drops, strong signal - save your time and do a similar thing!

I have this f/w installed and have hit a problem.
It is with the DLNA server on READYSHARE.
It is with my iPad. I have a variety of programs on it (iOS 11.2.1) that access the network and work with a DLNA server. ACEPlayer (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/aceplayer-plus/id480962404?mt=8) is one of them. When I access the R7000 which it sees, I select Media Explorer, R7000, Browse Folders, and it is EMPTY! It used to show me folders and I could open that and select a file to play. I tried a few DLNA players with the same results.
This USED to work fine, last used a few weeks ago. Complicating all this is that 3 things have happened probably after I last used it:
- iOS was updated to 11.2.1
- Netgear F/W updated
- ACEPlayer updated
Oh, I used NETGEAR GENIE to open READYSHARE and it works and sees the files?
I have searched the web looking for complaints that DLNA doesn't work on iPad's... can't find anything?
At a loss why Genie would work (it seems to d/l the file before playing it)?
Right now, I'm going to wait for awhile before doing anything, and assume someone here will verify if it is indeed the f/w or not. Don't see a reply on this, I'll look into the Beta .20 or go back to .18 that did work...

UPDATE:
Discovered that the SAMBA server still works in programs that support it. Suspect Genie app is not using DLNA but SAMBA to read the files.

Since Netgear replaced my router I have had zero disconnects. I'm running the .18 firmware. This tells me that either Netgear put out defective units (because the production number I received is later than the one that was resetting) or some of the firmware that put out in the past messed up the units somehow (because the only firmware I have upgraded to since receiving the router is .18). So while my unit is staying stable running the latest firmware as everyone else others are reporting constant resets. Something is not right with that....

Volstate. That's great that you are up and running. Just curious, have you checked your speed? Some are reporting other problems than just connection. One of which is half or a third of what the speed should be. Thanks.

How are people testing speed? I'd like to be consistent with other tests.
Using http://speedtest.xfinity.com/, I'm getting ~30 down and ~6 up, which is in line with my plan.
