Hi All,
Please post here for any update/issue related to the latest firmware 1.0.9.18.

You should review this and maybe revert back to this recommended version of FW:

Since I've flashed Tomato a few weeks ago I've forgotten that I have a router- it's working perfectly getting dust because i do not touch it at all :-)...
Parental control works perfectly, 0 drops, strong signal - save your time and do a similar thing!

I have this f/w installed and have hit a problem.
It is with the DLNA server on READYSHARE.
It is with my iPad. I have a variety of programs on it (iOS 11.2.1) that access the network and work with a DLNA server. ACEPlayer (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/aceplayer-plus/id480962404?mt=8) is one of them. When I access the R7000 which it sees, I select Media Explorer, R7000, Browse Folders, and it is EMPTY! It used to show me folders and I could open that and select a file to play. I tried a few DLNA players with the same results.
This USED to work fine, last used a few weeks ago. Complicating all this is that 3 things have happened probably after I last used it:
- iOS was updated to 11.2.1
- Netgear F/W updated
- ACEPlayer updated
Oh, I used NETGEAR GENIE to open READYSHARE and it works and sees the files?
I have searched the web looking for complaints that DLNA doesn't work on iPad's... can't find anything?
At a loss why Genie would work (it seems to d/l the file before playing it)?
Right now, I'm going to wait for awhile before doing anything, and assume someone here will verify if it is indeed the f/w or not. Don't see a reply on this, I'll look into the Beta .20 or go back to .18 that did work...

Problem continues. This morning I booted my wired PC. Checked with Windows Explorer the NETWORK. R7000 did NOT show again! Did a NET VIEW and got these results:
===================
C:\>net view
System error 1231 has occurred.
The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troublesho
oting, see Windows Help.
C:\>net view \\192.168.1.1

That first error is kind of strange. Web searches for it did not help... Why did NET VIEW work when I used the IP Address?
To RULE out W10 as a problem, I just rebooted the R7000 and NOT W10 which is what I did yesterday. Now everything worked?

I'm pretty sure now this is an R7000 flash problem.
