You should review this and maybe revert back to this recommended version of FW:

Since I've flashed Tomato a few weeks ago I've forgotten that I have a router- it's working perfectly getting dust because i do not touch it at all :-)...
Parental control works perfectly, 0 drops, strong signal - save your time and do a similar thing!

It's on Facebook now. Spreading the news. And Netgear is totally silent. No new betas, no answer from support, no mail from JamesGL. Nothing! Netgear keep on going like this! This will be a great year for you.

Speed test using the FCC app using my Table (Asus 10 3S) and Phone (Moto g4 Plus) with Tomato firmware. Please let me know if something seems peculiar.
Tablet:
2.4ghz Download . . . 32.15Mbps
Upload . . . . . 7Mbps
Latency . . . . 22ms
packet loss 1.75%
5g Download . . . 114.56Mbps Highest I've ever seen usauly about 76Mbps
Upload . . . . . 6.85Mbps
Latency . . . . 28ms
packet loss 0.00%
Phone:
2.4ghz Download . . . 38.91Mbps
Upload . . . . . 4.23Mbps
Latency . . . . 65ms
packet loss 0.68%
5g Download . . . 97.80Mbps Highest I've ever seen usauly about 76Mbps
Upload . . . . . 3.89Mbps
Latency . . . . 37ms
packet loss 0.00%
Just turning on QOS will drop the speeds in half without any fine tuning.
I have the laser printer working through the usb on windows 10 but not with linux.(help)

Great results! Don't see anything peculiar. If I was running linux i could help you troubleshoot that printer issue you're having, sorry :(

Since downgrading to V1.0.7.12, My internet has been going steady for 15+ hours now so far, not one drop out.
- Diggie3Jan 03, 2018LuminaryOn Netgear being silent: They did reach out to me last night via direct message, and they say this issue is their top priority, so that's good news. I think working openly in the forum might be difficult for them by now because there's a lot of frustrated owners here, but at the same time they should realize they're creating the perception that there is no response at all on their end, which is bad.
Unfortunately, in my case, I am back at work again and I need a stable home network, plus the most likely devices to drop off we're brought by visiting relatives who left again already, so it's fairly tough to spend more and more time on this.
At this point I am hopeful that they're reaching out to others who can reproduce the issue easily to work with them. I've offered to do what I can, but that's limited, at least during the week.
