Firmware broke my nighthawk R7450

The firmware updat they pushed down broke my unit that was quite pricey. Now it wont do anything. It either has a red power light solid or if I attempt to do a factory reset it just blinks white and still wont do anything. Their firmware breaks the unit and I have no way of fixing it or talking to them about it because apparently it is over 12 months old. Why should i pay for support when they broke it.
