Firmware update "R7000P"

I have the AC2300 (R7000P) model and everytime I attempt to check for firmware updates on the router itself, I get a "No new firmware version available"  But, when I go on the website, there is. This happened to me so far for the last 3 updates. I have to manaully download the zip file.  Can anyone please provide some feeback on this issue? Please advise.

    the latest isn't always the greatest when it comes to the R7000P.

    there's been a few posts on several of the routers that aren't getting auto-updates. 

    I wouldn't use auto-update anyway. Best way is to do it manually and be hardwired in. When we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be the auto-update, app update, or update over wifi that has issues.
