FS116-16 Port 10/100,
I am using a Netgear FS116-16 Port 10/100 Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Switch with an internet speed of 75/75 meg. I will be upgrading my internet speed to 500/500 meg. With this switch work for this internet speed? If no, please recommend a Netgear unmanaged switch with 16 ports which will work for an internet speed of 500/500 meg that I can purchase. Thank you.

While it will work, the switch is capped to 100 Mbps max so your 500 Mbps will never be reached. You can get any 16 ports Gbps unmanaged switch from NETGEAR. I use one myself, look at my signature for model number which is JGS516v2. There are a few other models, though, like a 16 ports desktop one. The one I use is rack mount compatible
