Getting 35 Mbps *upload* with xfinity & C7000v2

Just bringing closure to this thread, I had to buy a DOCSIS 3.1 device, I chose the flagship CAX80, to realize the 35 Mbps upload speed with xfinity. It worked fine upon the provisioning, getting close to 1Gbps down and 40 Mbps up.
Just side commentary, the QuickStart instructions for the CAX80 say to use the nighthawk iOS app; I traditionally configure manually, yet thought I'd give the app a try... In this first experience with it, my suggestion would be to RUN AWAY!!! What a POS!!! The app walk-thru didn't seem to be connecting to the CAX80, even multiple tries using the QR Code, and once it finally did connect and I went thru several steps, it ultmately failed. And the walk-thru sequence didn't make much sense to me either. Even within the manual config in a web browser, a couple of steps in, a page with essentially no navigation, no Yes or Cancel, Back or Continue buttons, jumps in the way! YMMV :-(

However, testing over ethernet, my upload speed is still only 5 mbps, same as I already had. Does xfinity need to re-provision my service to get me the 35 Mbps upload? ---you can try having them reprovision it. Your signals look good but we'd also want the logs (take as screen snip of them) as the cable connection page is just a snip in time.
Where is xfinity’s documentation or comment that they require a DOCSIS 3.1 device for the gigabit plan? Is there a technical reason, like that’s why so far they’ve been unable to increase the upload speed? (Or is it just for ease of support?)----its to "unburden" the network. Docsis 3.1 can carry a lot more data than 3.0. so ISP's have set requirements for for at what point they require upgrading to docsis 3.1. For example, cox recently starting requiring docsis 3.1 for speeds >150mbps. Xfinity is still doing pretty good in only needing it for speeds >750-800mbps.
Do I need to buy the AX6000 (CAX80), for instance, or can xfinity provision the C7000v2 for 35 Mbps upload?----You should easily be able to hit 35mbps upload on the c7000 if its provisioned correctly and running properly. I had one and it hit 40mbps upload without issues on xfinity.
If you are on a gigabit plan, might be worth upgrading to get the full speeds. I'd recommend not going with a combo device because I prefer the modem seperate from the router. that way if something does go bad or ISP changes requirements, you aren't out a monolithic device but just 1 device. Plus if you want to upgrade routers you always can.

I should have been more specific. Event log. That checks the modem side.
You're correct. when you attach it, its just 1 at a time. but we can see it right away. If you attach it as a photo a moderator has to approve it and it takes a while.
