gig speed ac1750 r6400v2

So i just upgraded to gig speed with xfinity, and updated my modiem to a docis3.1 but i still only get 200 mbps down load over wifi, is any one else having this issue and how can i fix it?

    The R6400 isn't going to hit gig speeds over wifi. No current AC router will hit those speeds going to a laptop/pc/tablet wireless. 

    It wasn't until AX that devices started hitting wireless gig speeds and even then you have to be in the same room and close to the router to hit those speeds.
