Have BT hub6 just purchased R7000p

I’m very very new novice to this so please help . I have a BT hub 6 and want to connect my NETGEAR 7000P I bought on EBay, I’m struggling I’ve got orange flashing light on Netgear, I’ve basically just put Ethernet from BT Hub to Yellow Ethernet on Netgear. Any help would be great fully appreciated

    the bt hub has its own integrated router. it puts you in a double nat.

    Options? (only use 1)

    1. put the bt hub in passthrough/modem only mode. contact your isp for help with this

    2. put the netgears IP address into the bt hub's DMZ. 

    3. Put the netgear in ap (access point) mode. this disables its router functions.

      Past experience with BT  modems is that they go out of their way to make this impossible.

       

      For help with the Hub 6, visit the BT self support group.

       

      Welcome to BT’s official support community.

       

      I'd add option 4.

       

      Fond a decent modem only box that works with your Internet service.
