Help!!!

So bought this router to help support 3 teens and 2 Xbox in our house bc obviously spectrum router is a POS. It works great and then it will go out several times a day. Wtf am I doing wrong ??? I just spent 400$ on a router and it’s still crashing periodically. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated !!!

A few more details are needed.

    1. what modem/gateway do you have from spectrum?

    2. what firmware is on the router?
    3. a better description of "going out" helps. Are devices saying "connected, no internet", is the wifi not broadcasting, is the wifi broadcasting but devices can't connect? Do wired devices work? What actually happens in details.

Since we aren't there to see whats going on, the better description you give, the better we can help.
