High ping fast WiFi on my R8000p router

The Arrris DG1670A is a modem/router combo device. It isn't just a modem.
It causes a double nat and can increase ping times.

Well my question is how do I disconnect it I need more instruction that link had poor instructions

Put the dg1670a in bridge mode? You'd want to contact Arris or your isp to assist you with that.

    So i can’t put I’m my router into bridge mode because I have other family member using WiFi and it’s not then causing high latency for me could their be other nighthawk routers interfering with mine causing high latency
