Hikvision DVR

Hi Guys, 

hope you can help, installed a the r7000 today as i have just had virgin installed and the super hub 3 was rubbish, impressed with the router so far but when i went to connect my Hikvision dvr to the router, I can't access the camera's, (they worked perfectly with the previous hubs without portforwarding or anything, just connected through the app) 

The DVR is showing as connected through the Nighthawk app, but when in hikvision app it is showing as not connected, hoping this is something you can help with.

    I don't have a Hikvision DVR, but I do have 2 Hikvision cameras with a Dahua DVR, so the principle should be the same.  You will most likely have to open at least one or two ports for the NVR, so that it can be viewed remotely.  You could probably do a google search for your particular model of DVR and most likely find which ports to open on the router.
