what modem do do you have? It is a Spectrum Ubee modem ---what one?
What router are you connecting to it? (router's) Downstairs the Modem connects with a D-link DGL-4500 and the switchbox. Upstairs is my Netgear R6900/AC1900 Nighthawk router.----
what firmware is on the router's? Latest on both. ---not really helpful. An actual number is better.
Your getting the slow speed directly from both routers? Yes. ----if 2 different routers are having the same issue and they're from different manufacturer's, what makes you think its the router and not what they're connected to?
What speed do you get from the switch connected to the modem? Anywhere from 110-180 mbs. And it is the same as my wireless devices. My desktop is direct connected and the speeds are the same as a laptop and cell phones using wireless. ---seems to indicate a modem/gateway and/or switch issue if both routers are having the same issue .

I noticed that my router downstairs connected to the Cable Modem is older and only supports a max of 300mb. I decided to replace my older router with a Netgear WAX 204- AX1800 router which will support speeds over 1 GB. THANKS!
