How do i connect an allowed device showing on the access control page as not currently connected.
I am trying to connect a Cisco SPA112 Analog Telephone Adapter to my R7000 Netgear Router. Problem is the ATA is showing in the access control page as an "allowed device not currently connected to the network" with only the MAC address given. How do I get the ATA to connect so I can see the IP address in order to go through the ATA set up. The lights on the ATA show power on, internet connected and handset off/ on. The ATA is connected by cable to the R7000 and the orange connected light is on.
Hi Maurice46,
Check attached devices.

Hi Maurice46,
Is access control enabled?
You can check attached devices for devices connected to the router. You will be able to see the IP address.

Access control enabled or disabled makes no difference.
R7000 Nighthawk Router Firmware V1.0.9.6_1.2.19
I can see the device (an CISCO ATA model SPA112) on the 'list of allowed devices not currently connected to the network' on the 'Access Control Page'. The list only gives the MAC address for the SPA112. The SPA112 is wired to the R7000.
I need to connect the SPA112 so as to configure it to my ISP settings.
