how do I get an error log from an AC 1750
Hi, the log on my router looks like it just has events (e.g. DHCP renews) but I don't see any errors listed. This in spite of getting network drops, seen from wired and wifi connected devices. S...

Flipped it over and blew away the dust.
AC2600 Smart WiFi Router
Model = R7450
Don't see any mention of "V" bit
Fundamentally I'd like to know why I have loss of network access.
Doesn't look like my cable modem is rebooting but I am not sure yet. Pulled both boxes out where I can see their lights.
Every event is enabled in the log but the log simply lets me see mundane stuff; mostly just DHCP events with an occasional DOS event. The only meaningful events I see are router initialization and network connected. I would like to see system errors or even some metrics. Surprised that there isn't any mention of time since last reboot. Anyway, I'd like to see any serious events like WAN interface up/down.
Thanks!

The logs aren't up to much detail. Try logging into this to see if you can add more details:
10.0.0.1//debug.htm
There may be various Debug Log CaptureDebug Log Capture options.
Out of interest, how did you end up with 10.0.0.1? Netear usually goes for 192.168.1.1. That one is a fall back if it finds something else on the network.

10.0.0.1//debug.htm = forbidden 403
My cable modem answers to 192.168.100.1 as well as 192.168.0.1
So ... I noticed that my local network was 10.0.0.xx and tried 10.0.0.1 and it worked.
Thanks!

Makes sense. The R7450 will have seen those and responded.
Which firmware version are you on?
