How Do I Rename Device

During the setup of my Netgear EX7700 Nighthawk WiFi Extender, I allowed the name of the Extender to keep the name of my wifi account. This was inadvertent, but now I can't distinguish between my wireless service and my extender service. How can I rename the extender so that it's identifiable from my desktop wifi?     I don't know what you mean by "my wifi account". You can check the manual for how to change the SSID of your extender.

     

    Visit the support pages:

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    Check the section in the manual Change the WiFi Network Name.
