I followed the manufacturer's instructions that came in the box with the new router. I am using the cable company's modem but replaced their WiFi router with my Netgear 36 nighthawk R7000 router. It worked fine for a while but now my internet connection keeps dropping. After reading the various related issues other users had it seemed like I needed to create a bridge. Based on your feedbacks and since it is a new router I will be contacting their support group. Thank you all for your support.
