how do I setup time limits for certain devices
I want to set up a time limit restriction for certain users connected in my house.
How can I do this for my R7800 Nighthawk?

The control over access time is pretty limited on the R7800. It lacks some of the management that comes with the paid for versions of parental controls that you can have with some pother routers. For the R7800 the manual is a good place to start.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Schedule When to Block Internet Sites and Services.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
