How to bridge R7200 over ethernet

If the idea is for the R7200 to provide WiFi on the second floor, then put the R7200 into wireless access point (AP) mode and plug it into the ethernet from the Verizon router.

The Verizon router then does all the network management stuff while the R7200 provides WiFi and acts as a "switch" that connects things plugged into it back to the router.
Note the drawbacks in AP mode:
Disabled Features on the Router when set to AP Mode | Answer | NETGEAR Support
But you won't want the R7200 doing things that clash with the Verizon.
