How to change preferred band value (MODEL: R8000P)
Yellow to everyone who is reading, hopefully the rest of y'all's lives are great to say the least. I'm trying to change the preferred band value of the wifi system I have from 5 gHz to 2.4 gHz. Thank...

your router is dual band which means it can simultaniously broadcas 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. Go with a browser to http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 and check your settings

microchip8 Its actually triband.
Are you using smart connect? If so, there's not a way to set a preferred band on the router.
But you can disable smart connect and setup the bands with their own ssid and then choose which devices you want on which band.
