How did you determine that your C6220, rather than one of your
neighbors' routers, is the source of this "free Xfinity hotspot"? Does
it vanish when you power off the C6220?
The only part worth knowing about the Gryphon Mesh router is that I bought after realizing that the Netgenie parental controls were inadequate and hard to use; however it's only a router and not a modem/router combination. So, since I couldn't return the Netgear modem/router, I now have both.
