How to enable telenet in R6400
I want to enable telnet in R6400,but I don't how to enable it.Please help me!
Not sure what you mean. Do you want to telnet to the router? Last time I tried telnet to a telnet service just worked in a browser without any drama or extra config.

Can you login to http://routerlogin.com?
If so, go to:
http://routerlogin.com/debug.htm
Some, but not all, devices will then allow you to enable Telnet.
This is the sort of feature that Netgear changes with firmware updates.
If it fails for you, it may be possible to do this with older firmware.

Define "new". Which ones fail?
Complain to Netgear? It's their firmware. They "improved" it.
