How to make Nighthawk R7000 stop blocking websites.
How do I setup the Nighthawk R7000 with firmware V1.2.0.92 to stop blocking websites like Bank of America? It's so stupid that Netgear would do something like this! Any help is greatly appreciated. W...

Is it a web browser that shows that message?
Which browser?
Browsers are increasing severe in what they will accept as URLs. They expect to see https protected sites. The router accepts http links. (That's perfectly safe because it is local access to a local site.) Some browsers have an option to ignore the warning and proceed to the site.
What is that computer? Windows PC?
These two are picky about security and what they will allow.
Do you get the same message if you use a wired connection to the PC?
Is there any other security software installed in your network?
You did not answer the question from microchip8 about Armor.
Details are important. While it is easy to blame the router, networks have many components. That's why you should supply as much information as possible about your network, what you are doing ans where things go wrong. Without that we are all just guessing.

- jkay5665Nov 12, 2023Aspirant
I'm not sure what ARMOR is. It's on a windows PC using Edge and on my iPhone using Safari. Once I turn off WiFi on my iPhone and use cellular data, then everything works. Once I turn on WiFi, it'll say, "This website is blocked." And it says my firmware is up to date.
- microchip8Nov 12, 2023MasterArmor is NETGEAR's defender. It's a filtering and security feature by Bitdefender. Look in the app or Web UI of the router if it says if it's enabled or not.
