HP Printer rejects valid passphrase
I have recently set up a mesh in the house with CM1100 + MR60 + 2x MS60. The house is wired with a wall port in every room so both satellites are wired to the base unit. Every device, and I don't have too many of them, connects to the network. Except my HP Laser M200 network printer. I can do a wired connection, and no issues printing from any connected device. But if I try to enable wi fi it recognises the network but simply says "Invalid Passphrase". Tried usual set of tricks.
1) Updated firmware on the printer, the most recent being 2015
2) Reset the printer to factory settings multiple times and reinstalled. Quite a nuisance because the factory settings use Chinese as default language :-(. But problem still exists.
3) Security option is WPA2-Personal [AES] . Password is 8 letters + 3 numbers. No special characters
4) Printer had no problems in my old house where I had an old Docsis 2.0 modem/router combo from Netgear.
5) When I print a wi-fi status report, there is a curious message that the printer is detecting multiple networks with the same SSID! I disconnected the satellites and tried to install but no, that did not work either.
6) I tried WPS wizard through my PC, pusing a virtual button. The network identified the printer, got the address right, but printer still "failed to connect"
Is there anything that jumps out here? Any hint would be appreciated. I have background in electronics, but limited networking knowledge.

The usual way to fix wifi printers is to find the printer maker's utility, the software that runs on your operating system. Then use that to connect the printer to the wifi.
Installing HP wireless printer software | Wireless Printing Center | HP® United Kingdom
The router just broadcasts wifi. It is then down to the printer to play ball. There isn't much that you can do on a router, beyond fixing it to a particular IP address, that affects what the printer gets up to.
Where possible, using the WPS feature can simplify things.

It may be that someone else has had problems with one of those Mesh routers, but this isn't the place to find it.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Nighthawk Mesh System - NETGEAR Communities
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
