You refer to the genie. This could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?
If you mean the mobile genie app, new firmware wiped that out on the R7000 some years ago. The Nighthawk app is what you need now.

If your R7000 still works with the genie, you may have a hill to climb to get it up to date. You may not be able to install the latest update without going through some intermediate stages first.
As microchip8 says a reset is the place to start.
You might want to think in terms of a manual update to your firmware.

Thank you for your help. And now i am trying to reset my R7000. But i am facing a funny issue which is the nighthawk app not found my router. The power is on and network cable connected from modern to R7000. Nighthawk said my router not found. Local network is enabled on my iphone setting. But still doesn't work to set up. Is something wrong on my setting process?
