I get "issues connecting to.." Error

This is so frustrating!!!! I don't understand what's tiny on with my app but everytime I connect to the right network I still cannot get it to detect my nighthawk router!!! I have tried set up 2xs and...

       Has your (unspecified) "my nighthawk router" a model number?  Look
    for "Model" on the product label.

       _Which_ "this firmware update"?  Are you trying to do a firmware
    update?

     

       Forget the (unspecified) "my app", and use a web browser?  Visit
    http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number, and look
    for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for "firmware".


       Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
    and look for Downloads.  (For older versions, under Firmware and
    Software Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".)  Find the
    kit(s).  Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release Notes" file
    for instructions.  (In the User Manual, look for "firmware", and,
    especially, for a topic like "Manually Upload Firmware to the Router".)
