I have Nighthawk R7000 running Firmware Version V1.0.11.134_10.2.119

I'm not sure if this is the same problem, but I have Nighthawk R7000 running Firmware Version V1.0.11.134_10.2.119.

I run it so Operation Mode is Access Point. 

1. When I run speed test from a wired system system on the Nighthawk, I get:

2. When I connect via 5G Wifi at "Up to 1300Mbps" on any channel, I get this:

3. When I connect via 5G Wifi at "Up to 600Mbps", I get this:

4. When I connect via 2.4G Wifi at "Up to 600Mbps", I get this:

5. If I connect to an older LinkSys router that is farther away, I get this:

Please note, that 2-5 are on the same laptop. However, another laptop (my work one), will produce the same results.  Also, the Nighthawk connects to the LinkSys, which connects to the internet.

 

So obviously, I'm not concerned about my connection to the internet from the house.

I'm not even concerned about the wire between the 2 routers.

Therefore, it seems like there is bad firmware/hardware on the Nighthawk or I have a bad setting on the Nighthawk. It seems limited to the 5G Wifi on the NetGear

 

I would lean more towards bad firmware/hardware.  It seems that this was working until a few months ago.  I notice it because my "Teams" was not broadcasting my screen share only recently.

 

Can someone please help?
