Do you think getting the modem bridged first is a good idea or just getting a new modem and if I do get a new modem can I use my own personal bought modem or do I have to get charter spectrum to replace it or upgrade it?Try just testing the modem first. Direct connect to it and test your buffer bloat.
If its not good, then potentially replace. I don't think spectrum charges for modem rentals so you could always see if they'll replace it. Or there aftermarket modems that do work with spectrum.
