I need to update firmware netgear29
I could not log into my account kept getting message that a password reset would be sent but never did long story short I finally got updated and haven't had a firmware update in awhile, is there a download for my laptop that will connect to the modem/router to get the update, really not trying to buy a whole new set if I don't have to

You don't need an account to update firmware.

Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
Check the section in the manual on updating the firmware.
