Impossibly slow admin interface since day ONE on BRAND NEW Nighthawk R7900p
Several years ago I purchased two Nighthawk R7900p routers. I have been using one of them since purchased, and the other stayed in the box as backup. I rarely have to use the admin interface after initial setup so the interface speed was never an issue, however now I started having problems with the older router, so I replaced it with the backup.
Now the BRAND NEW router is still having the same issues the first one did, the admin interface is extremely slow to load any pages, and half the time pages do not load correctly or at all. Even something as simple as navigating from the main menu to ANY other page, takes 60+ seconds to even start the page change.
I am now I am realizing I may be better off replacing this router with a different brand just to make management easier when I do have to do it.
Using a WIRED connection with NO OTHER DEVICES connected to the router, it is still barely usable. I tried multiple resets and ensured firmware was up to date.
Is there any reason a BRAND NEW Nighthawk R7900p router would be this incredibly slow? twice in a row?

What web browser are you using? Did you try a different one? Maybe Firefox, Chrome, Edge?
Sometimes web browsers need the cache flushed clean. Once does not always get the job done.
Are you connected to the router via Wi-Fi or direct via Ethernet?

I'd investigate that, starting with the usual questions. Might save you the cost of new kit.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
