Incorrect password

My apple devices are disconnecting from wifi at night; 10-11:00 pm. Getting incorrect password message. Reconnects with router reboot. Alexa, Epson printer, Roku Stick and Samsung TV (wired) remain connected...appears to only affect iphone/ipad.

 

solutions? This started a few days ago.

    You may what to try and forget the saved network on the Apple devices and then connect them again.

      I tried that; would only connect after router reboot.

       

      last night I may have found the problem. After reboot I checked addresses of all connected devices. It seems my Epson printer showed connected to local network however the ip address was way out of range; not the expected 192.168.1.xxx. It was some, unknown to me, external ip, didn't note the number but it was something like 269.178.4.532???
