The imagination on these moving targets is on us ... I -guess- there are two routers in place, each to cover a dedicated [W]LAN and the guest [W]LAN.
Decreasing the DHCP lease time in an environment with a big number of clients to prevent shortages on the DHCP pool is one thing.
The "why" increase the lease time is more a "because I want to configure what I want and Netgear does not allow".
Equally, no response on the "How is the DNS problem drops being in this release?" also brought on the table, but at least denied later on.
I'm not even convinced the OP did understood why we had some questions before. Wonder what new moving targets will arrive to this discussion soon.
Reminds me to the request for longer DHCP expiration times (on some systems defaulting to 8 hours) "because we are often gaming in sessions longer than eight hours and don't want to be disconnected" we've seen before. Exactly this does not happen! But this is why we're asking ugly questions 8-)
Happy New Year and Peace to everyone!

First of all,
I have already told that I want to increase and de-crease on 2 seperate networks in 2 different envirement I want change the DHCP lease on the guest network from 24Hour to 1Hour because people come in and out.
So having this control gives me more flexibility to work with.
Second,
"How is the DNS problem drops being in this release?" This question is being asked about the product R7800, not for the R7000. in the early versions/firmwares of the R7800 there was a problem occurred when with DNS drops for the model R7800.
I don't have this problem, but I was wondering how the latest firmware behaves about this problem what was before.

Saying it again, I don't have these DNS problems. Maybe I posted in the wrong post. But what I want is to have control over my DHCP lease time. For me, it's ''new'' that Netgear Products never had this option flex. for the customer...
If I had known this before I never have bought a Netgear product in the first place.

How many guests do you have on your network on the guest environment in one hour, and in one day?
Still unanswered is the question why you intend to increase the DHCP expiration time on the other environment.
