install R7000 router w/o a smartphone
Is there a way of installing a nighthawk router without using a smart phone. Yes! I'm the last smartphone hold out:)
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Yes you can.
You use the browser. It'll pop up a screen that recommends using the app but if you scroll down, theres a link that says something like I don't have a compatible smart phone and you can click that to setup using the browser.
