Intermittent connection issues

I have the c7000 v2 and have been expericencing all kinds of drops and what seems like DNS issues.
My event log also looks alot like this and I does lead me to suspect that there is an issue with the hardware. I purchase my unit from Amazon, which i think may have been referbished as it was discounted and came in a basic brown box.
As a last ditch effort I am making sure that my wireless channels are free, being only devices are on those channels.
I may cave though anc just go buy a modem from Motorola or Arris.
I have never had these issues when using DSL and an Asus router.
It would be great if there was a way diagnose cable connections and the various errors that show on the logs from Netgear.
