Intermittent outage when hot?

It’s been unusually hot the last few weeks and I’ve been experiencing intermittent outage. My provider cannot reach my modem when this happens and my the rest of my neighbors in the apartment building are experiencing no issues. I reset, power cycle, etc. unplug and leave off and RE plug. All the things that I know to do. It doesn’t work. At least until the modem cools down. It’s in an open space with good airflow and seems to happen when temps get above 80. Any ideas? I’ve had for 14 months. Is this to be expected?

I've never needed a cooling fan with a modem.

I have with a router that was in a warmer room for stability.

Might be worth just setting it on a little desk fan or laptop cooler if you have an old one sitting around to see if it helps. If it helps, then invest in a couple parts to try actively cooling it.
