INTERNET NETGEAR WIFI BOOSTER

I have had to change my desk top and now the internet wont work on the other small intenet wifi booster

As it was bought 12 months ago Net gear wont help

 

Any thoughts

    What actual extender model do you have? 

    What router is it connected to? 

    What firmware is on the extender? 

    Did you try factory resetting and reinstalling?

    Tell us a  bit more. "Won't work" could mean many things.

     

    How is it trying to connect? Wifi? Wired Ethernet?

     

    What messages do you see when you try?

     

    Is it a Windows PC?

     

    Try running the Network Troubleshooter in Windows.

    Probably because there is nothing wrong with whatever Netgear device you are trying to connect through. Sounds more like a problem with your new desktop. Netgear can't do anything about that.
