iPhone cannot access USB HD connected to R7900

My iPhone running iOS version 17.5.1 does not connect to the USB HD on the router.  Message returned after attempting to Connect to Server is:

There was a problem connecting to the server. Socket is not connected.

From my iMac running macOS 14.5 I can successfully Connect to Server and access the files on the USB drive on the router.

I have tried connecting after turning OFF Private Wi-Fi Address on the iPhone wi-fi setting.

How are you trying to connect? With wifi and an app on the iPhone?

I am trying to connect by Wi-Fi to the R7900 router using the iPhone Files App then Connect to Server.

The Connect to Server is successful from MacOS on iMac

Comparing MacOS with iOS is like comparing Windows with Android, takes some doing if it is even possible.

        What "Server" is this?
